Long Meg and Her Daughters

Description
The second largest stone circle in England. According to vibrant local folklore, 'Long Meg' and her accompanying stones were originally a coven of witches who were petrified by the 13th-century Scottish wizard Michael Scot after he caught them celebrating the Sabbath. Legend states that if anyone successfully counts the stones twice and arrives at the same number, the spell will be broken or bring terrible bad luck.
